Cricket and IPL

The world and in particular the cricket world has been waiting with baited breath for the IPL events. The cash rich BCCI in another of its attempt to brow beat the other cricketing nations has embarked on this extravaganza. For the first time teams have been sold to high flying individuals who had then assembled in the confines of a five star hotel to participate in an auction. The auction resembling just like any other animal auctions took place amongst lot of excitement and many of the leading present and just retired players were put in the auction block and auctioned. The auction is now over and the people are waiting for action now.I am having my own doubts about the success of the venture.

1.Many of the owners have paid astronomical sums to get cricketers of their choice. The owner has to pay the player contracted as per the contract irrespective of performance. The owner has to get enough money to pay the players, take care of the kits and also the hospitality. It is not clear how they are going to survive.
2.The players can play in IPL only if they have an NOC from their boards. In case the IPL clashes with some tour as per the ICC calender, what happens if the NOC is not issued?
3.What happens if a contracted player sustains an injury which puts him out of action for a long time?
4.The teams are a kitchdi of players from different countries. How will they get the motivation to peerform is another issue. After all when payments to players are guaranteed, irrespective of performances, why even perform continuously?
5.The spactators have been given such a large dose of cricket that it is doubtful whether there will be enough attendence in the grounds.Of course the recent ICL matches witnessed heavy crowd but the question is whether the trend will continue.
